From the gladiatorial pits to the political arenas, he has risen quite a bit from his early life ... and he has no intention of stopping. Much of his personality evolved from his experience in the ring. He is very cold and ruthless, and is not afraid to use everything that he has at his disposal to attain what he wants. He also has no mercy for his opponents, and will almost always kill them unless they prove useful. He hates the leadership that allowed him to be enslaved, and seeks to tear it down by any means necessary. He will not tolerate any kind of failure, and often those serving him are killed for incompetence. Despite his gruff nature, he can appear quite charismatic, which allowed him to transfer from the fighting arena to the political one without much difficulty. Even if its not true, the sword probably was influenced by a god in some way. Made of near indestructible crystals, and infused with power that can slice boulders in two, it is truly to be feared. It is made of some of the strongest metals in the world, and is said to be enchanted so that it always returns to its master's side. This may or may not be true, but it doesn't help the rumor that Malice is never seen without it. [/hider2][/hider] [b]Bio:[/b] After his village was raided by bandits, Desonian saw his family, friends and world destroyed. He was sold as a slave into the underground gladiator fights. Despite being only 12 at the time, he quickly rose up the ranks as one of the best fighters. Although at first he used his wit to win fights, he soon found himself relying on brute strength and utter brutality. He earned the nickname 'Malice' for his utter hatred, as he often lashed out at every person who approached him. After fighting for years, he finally started a rebellion among his fellow gladiators. Using smart strategies and tactics, he quickly slaughtered the guards and secured his fellows escape. Once free, he turned his ragtag group of warriors into a proper military force, and sent them into hiding within the various towns of the country he came from. While they began training and recruiting an army within each town, he began taking part in politics. At first he was a minor factor, however he quickly gained a massive following. People were happy to cling to his promises of a strong nation where he promised to destroy the class system that the serfs suffered under. At first he merely called for reform, however he eventually called for more drastic, and violent measures. After reconnecting with his old gladiator friends, he began a major rebellion that quickly turned into a bloody civil war. The government forces couldn't cope with massive rebellions in every town, and soon the ex-leader's head was strung above the capitol building's entrance. However, it seemed that they had become feared by the people. After being betrayed and ousted from power, Malice and a few of his select few lieutenants fled the country. Now they are nothing more than a criminal group, traveling the world to escape their crimes. However, the day is fast approaching when they shall make their glorious return!
