Ciprha and Prince on the ground, counting bigscreech as a loss. Prince has net issues and CIprha has college issues. Shipbourne I think it is you folk were waiting on for autopsy st00f IIRc.

I did that part already with Forsythe before I went MIA, I believe in a brief collab with the Captain which signaled the lock down. And mostly I was being a playful ass when I typed that.

There still room for another soldier type? If not than what positions could use some (more) filling also since I'm making a Japanese character may I have a Katana as an option? (Probably have a Wakizashi as well if so).

Though no, you may not have a Katana. As an eaerth human, you are to follow the conventions of whichever organisation you joined from, thus a military character will have very few of his own possessions, much less a Katana.

As for positions, its fairly balanced right now so feel free to pick whichever.

Alright, guess I'll just stick to the issued out (I'm still looking up more information though) Katana of the JSF.

I think what Echo means is in modern military swords are only used for ceremonial purposes and thus would not be on the ship. You'd take a gun into combat, cause y'know.

If someone is shooting at you it's better to shoot back than run at them with a sword.

Difference is a combat knife is small, fits into your uniform and doesn't get in the way. A Katana needs a long sheath, if you try and dive down or fit through tight spaces it could easily get in the way. It's why combat knifes are standard issue and swords aren't.
