His fathers presence was sorely missed as he took on more hours to accommodate for the new addition to his family. Marcus grew up with a sturdy knowledge of the magical world and its inner workings, developing a strong set of principles mainly adopted from his fathers own, whom was a silent yet diligent worker, with a strong loyalty to his family. He became fond of the sport Quidditch and fast became a steady supporter of the 'Falmouth Falcons' due to their passionate and quite often violent play style, this led him to be a somewhat rough around the edges youth, often playing outside with other lads around his age and older. Much of this was to the chagrin of his parents, as the others he played with were mostly half-bloods or from lesser houses, but his parents chose not to discourage his interactions with them, still believing him too young to discern the importance of blood in the wizarding community. Marcus enjoys the company of others, although quiet around strangers, he grows fiercely loyal toward those who show him kindness. He's a fast learner, but finds himself easily distracted and at times downright lazy with subjects that bore him. He believes courage is best used in the face of adversity, but knows to keep a levelled head, nothing good comes to those who charge in head on.
