For a (relatively brief) period, I considered also playing Shovel Knight as a character.

Otherwise, I actually haven't had any serious thoughts as to a second character I would play. As much as I'd like to pick something [i]else[/i] from the many Final Fantasy games, I should probably vouch for something else.
