"Y-You're not angry with me? Really?" The short boy felt an odd mixture of slight surprise, confusion, and relief, all of which he was sure probably showed in some amount on his face. "I'm glad. I can't stand the thought of upsetting a friend. It hurts too much." He moved closer and sat down near the girl. "I'm sure you should be forgiving to yourself, too. Accidents happen even when you are careful, right? So the best thing we can do is learn from them and accept that things don't always work sometimes, I think."
