A week doesn’t go by that she doesn’t get into trouble, and word is going around that her expulsion is imminent. Then again, she has a burning fervor that Ozpin insists can be bent to good for all, not just for Faunus; and if she were to be rejected from Beacon, one of the self-proclaimed pinnacle racially-equal institutions, it’s likely that she would take her considerable skill and combat ability to the White Fang. And so she has not yet been purged from Beacon, and Coral is still the most racist, violent kid on campus. Weapons: [hider=Aura Returners]8 blades which are attuned to the aura of the user and guided through it. Their melee stance causes them to hover around the user’s hands as a sort of claw weapon, and they can be thrown for ranged attacks. A simple aura command causes them to switch stances or return to the user once thrown. Coral has loaded the blades with a dust that reduces the damage reduction of her target with each attack.[/hider] Semblance: [hider=Trickster]Coral teleports to a target location, leaving behind an aura clone of herself. This clone is indistinguishable from Coral, and will continue fighting for a few seconds, dealing reduced and taking increased damage. If the clone is destroyed (by dealing enough damage to deplete the aura that Coral created it with) or lasts until the end of its duration, it dissipates. Coral is stealthed, becoming invisible and making her actions silent, as long as the clone remains: when it runs out, she reappears in a cloud of inky smoke. Limitations: Has a recharge time equal to the duration of the clone. This recharge time is not reimbursed when the clone is destroyed instead of reaching the end of its duration. Coral can be sensed by superior aura users even while stealthed.[/hider] Strengths: Coral is a very strong 1v1 duelist, capable of turning a situation around with tactful use of Trickster, whether this be to dodge a powerful attack or to turn the situation into a 2v1. Coral has keen Faunus senses and a strong premonition if she is being followed or watched. This, combined with her stealth, makes her a hard-to-track sneaky little son-of-a-squid. Due to her physiology and past experiences, Coral has developed a high pain threshold. Coral shares many experiences with other Faunus, and therefore has little trouble connecting with them. Weaknesses: (In and out of combat) Coral has a long cooldown on her Semblance. Exploit this to attack her when she can’t Trickster away. Coral has weak Aura defenses, as her Semblance takes a lot of power and her weapons rely on a constant supply of Aura-based commands. To balance her energy demands and make sure that she can last through the fight, she therefore must sacrifice her defensive capability: her shields are weak, she has no Aura healing, and her physical damage reduction is lower than normal, making her an extremely fragile Huntress. Coral is extremely prejudiced and has an infamously-foul temper when it comes to humans.
