And technically, McHaggis, your character is still considered a child by normal fantasy elf standards. Yes, they do mature at the same rate as humans, but mostly they are declared adults at 100 years old and can live into their seventh century. (Says D&D which in my opinion is the leading world authority on medieval fantasy.)
