A small bird native to Odesh, it is incredibly light weight and uses the wind to its advantage to reach higher speeds then most other birds. Due to its size, only small notes can be attached to it to keep its speed, these notes can be up to 140 letters in Ink and are normally smaller than a post it note, slipped into a holder on one of the birds legs.
They are trained to travel between home and food supplies.
They have been used by the Whiteshorns for generations, but are also popular throughout Odesh by teenagers to keep in touch with friends. 
The bird is named after the signature sound it makes.
