It is 2015, six months after the Civil War that threatened to tear down the world's largest democratic nation. The division between Unnaturals (those with powers, they prefer 'Empowered' though)) and normal humans has become public knowledge; no longer can the government kidnap and hide children who show signs of powers in designated facilities. With escapees lashing out at the army attempting a coup in revenge for their captivity their existence was broadcast to the entire world and suddenly the urban myths of children with powers no longer seemed so far-fetched. 

The backlash against Unnaturals, labelled as diseased and ordered to surrender to security forces immediately, was tremendous and forced many into hiding. The criminal underbelly of the US is now dominated by the Unnaturals who have split into various gangs. Some seek to tear down the government and replace it with one more interested in equality, others aim to destroy all normal humans whom they see as weak and primitive while still others simply use their powers to amass fortunes. 

Those who turned themselves into the government were given the choice of being imprisoned or serving as whatever security forces were needed with relentless indoctrination methods turning them into zealots against their own kind. 

You are an escapee, or one who was lucky enough not to be noticed by the government before the Civil War broke out, and have heard of a small group of fellow Empowered who are also on the run. Your aim is to find them, somehow, and survive.

Not too many.
1. I just ask that this be kept clean. I understand that relationships do form but if it gets too graphic, take it to the PM's. 
2. No fighting in the OOC. If you have a bone to pick, take that to the PM's as well.
3. If you want to kill any characters or attack any characters, please let either one of the GM's know, as well as the person that is going to be killed/attack. Nothing will ha[en without consent.
