She retired years ago, giving up her position to Song Lin Tiao. She returned to running the Sakura Arena, serving the hierarchy as a Gatekeeper to true challengers. Despite her age, Ayameko is a serious opponent giving even the strongest of trainers a challenge. Ayameko was born in Sakura. The only daughter of a florist, her mother, and a Restoration Mage, her father. She grew up in upper middle class, giving her a pleasant and comfortable childhood. Like most children in Sakura, Ayameko spent much of her time outdoors, but the extent Ayameko was outside was far beyond what her peers did. Most were aware of her innate gifts with healing plantlife by age ten, to the point that she would often be asked to assist with struggling gardens. However, her gifts would continue to evolve, extending far beyond the healing of plants. By the age of twenty, she could freely manipulate the growth and movement of plantlife, at speeds and strengths that could shatter rocks. She would continue to hone her abilities privately, speaking to the plants, who tutored her in development of her powers. She would be given control over the Sakura arena by age 25, a position she would have for only a few years before being asked to become a member of the Elite Triumvirate. She would hold that position for over five decades, furthering her ability to weave plants and magic together - a skill long lost to most people. She would have two children in her mid thirties to another member of the Elite Triumvirate. Her son passed on at an early age, leaving only her daughter. At age sixty-seven, her daughter, now married to the Ivlser Arena Master would have her first grandchild, a son. Five years later, they would have another child, a daughter. During the war, Ayameko, who had resigned her post as a member of the Triumvirate, would be hit by a mysteries curse, which severed her right arm. Using her specialized magic, she created a new arm for herself out of a special plant she she had acquired over her years. Few are aware of this, however, as Ayameko has continued to keep it a secret as she works to uncover the mystery of the magic that could hinder the healing of such a wound.
