Besides, with the lack of Emiri’s memory and Jaakuna’s less-than perfect exercisement of Zodiark, there was no guarantee that it would add to their chances of winning. There was also the fact that Ultima was the strongest Esper right behind Zodiark. If the remnants of Zodiark in Jaakuna got in the way, it truly would be very, very bad for the group’s chances of winning.
