Kensuke Nimatsu - Team 7 Jounin Guiding both his competing genin towards the grand arena of Amegakure, silently cursing the rain that was running down his neck. He disliked this valley for a reason. And it was a good one. Rather grimly he reminded himself that he had been here before, which was a great help when leading the genin to the complex of fighting rings. Entering through the competitor's gates he showed both genin the hallways to their arenas, and then gave them a good look. It was in a way pretty emotional to see both his genin here, ready to prove their worth. Despite their short time together and the less than smooth course of their first few missions, he had grown, perhaps even a sort of attached to them. Like a man would curse but secretly like his stubborn horse, so did Kensuke think of his genin. Then again, they had survived two months of intensive training with him, proof of their physical condition, and despite their initial lack of teamwork and tactical aptitude, there had been improvement. Perhaps it still was a bit too early for them to take part in such a dangerous test, but he had granted them the possibility anyways. They might not be the best around, but to see them as the worst would be a grave underestimation. "Allright. Before you two go off and get yourself inevitably maimed or killed, I'm going to say that when you first joined my squad I wondered how you even got out of the academy alive. Now, after spending two months with you guys, doing missions and training you to the best of my abilities, I still wonder how you got out of the academy alive. The only difference is that I believe there is hope for you two. Despite your young age and short time to prepare, you are both skilled and smart brats, and you shouldn't forget that out there in the field." He said with a complacent smile. He cleared his throat and tried hiding his mile somewhere safe, as he didn't want to show them he was actually a bit proud to be here. No way they should know that. He placed a hand on both of their shoulders and leaned down so he was at an even level with them, giving them a last piece of advice. "Shisen. Don't let yourself be intimidated. Keep a clear head at all times and work together with Arashi as if he was a part of your body." He said, putting his hand on her shoulder while the dog sniffed his shoe and snorted at him in a very indignant way. "Ezuri, follow your instinct, but keep a good amount of common sense to temper that with at all times. Don't be overconfident and reckless, but certainly don't make yourself small either." He told the young Hyuuga, looking him into the eyes. Standing up he pushed both genin towards their respective arenas. "Now go and get yourselves killed or something."
