"Obviously Kyle would be good at it," agreed David, "still, I have to wonder, do you not like water have something to do with your abilities, or do you just not like water because you don't like it?" It was both normal and strange for people's personalities to fit their abilities - it was something he had seen dozens of times - but David sometimes wondered whether their powers actually affected them, or if it was something more normal. He questioned this intensely especially whenever he encountered a persons abilities who were particularly 'dark', like a young girl he once met who had the ability to forcibly make other living creatures (including plants) feel fear. It was a pretty terrible ability that couldn't be avoided or blocked and left it's victims shaken mad wrecks for weeks or months. Sometimes even years. Even people or things that had no fear were subject to it, as David found out firsthand. Fera, he thought, Fera was her name. As bad as her ability seemed though, the one that always looked most afraid was Fera herself.
