4 month apocalypse 
-we all lived in the same state
-We are raiding a store or something and we get confronted by either hostile humans, or a horde of infected.
- if we use this we change Cs

2 year apocalypse 
- we would probably be more well developed, so cars, lots of guns, not as much need for a group of ten people to all scavenge.

- there would be way more than just 10 on us

- we start out fight with hostile humans

I just want to get this moving, this is my idea of the scenarios
