"Amy just stay calm. Ariel will know what to do." Phillip stayed by her side at the bed's edge, reaching over and gently stroking her hair away from her head. Under normal conditions he would have been flustered by the mere thought of coming near Amy in this fashion. But even his body understood the dire state of the situation and he was controlled enough to keep up a reassuring smile for his friend. Ariel soon returned with a set of white pills and a cup of water. Taking it into her palm, she gently offered the medicine to Amy before tilting her body forward and letting her sip the water to wash it down. "These are the only antibiotics we have left," she said quietly.
