On the Far side of the map, the sun had set a few hours ago, And upon its setting, a large airship had settled overhead. Two loan figures clambering down from it, One berating the other. “I still say this is not a smart idea Rin-Rin.” James commented, Using the ‘pet name’ He’d made up for his partner, Who, as of this moment on the ladder had several pencils in his jaw, so could not respond. “We know this is a group dungeon for level sixty ish, and you want to go in, just the two of us to map it out.” He shook his head and sighed, his necklace clinking softly. “I don’t know. The things I do to keep you happy.” He smiled wryly in the light of the airships lume-casters. Not two minutes later they were on the ground, Nathanial stretching out and running through his spell list, waiting for Rin to finish getting his gear set up. After a short time, they started the walk towards one of the more recently emerged Dungeons. ___________ About twenty minutes or so later, after several loud rumbles and what sounded like something soft getting splattered over a wall there was, at first, a faint yelling noise, rapidly getting louder and louder slowly it resolved itself in to the words “I told you so!” as the two adventurers came barrelling out of the demented city, James dragging Rin, using his other hand to hurl fireballs over his shoulder at seemingly random. “I swear to god, Next time, I’m going to let you do it alone!” He threatened before slumping down at the end of the bridge. He lay on his back shaking his head. What shocked him is that this island was famed for its low level monsters and easy grinding areas, Low level players could go from level 1 to level 30 in a few hours, as well as getting at least tier two mastery. And then pop. Up comes a level sixty raid dungeon. That no one had even got past the first room of yet. As he lay there contemplating James noticed something, in the top left of his vision his health was still dropping, very slowly, about 1 health every five seconds, and he was in combat, so his natural regeneration didn’t kick in. “Huh?” He sat up and looked round, highly confused. Then noticed what was attacking him. There was a chicken standing part way down him, trying to get at the rations in his pocket. “OH cluck off.” He groaned and snapped his fingers. There was the sound of thunder and a roar as he fired of a ThunderShock, the chicken was instantly fried, Rin sat up and nearly jumped out of his skin as the spell went off. James on the other hand had already picked up the lightning-cooked chicken and torn a leg off. “Want a midnight snack?” He offered.
