Hey, I have a couple of questions if you don’t mind: 1. You said Guardians are immune to magic, but unable to use it. When you say immune, are you exerting a presence that prevents the casting of magic, or if someone shoots a fireball at you it just disappears? 2. Would you be willing to accept a new Blackwater? He’d be about 25 years old, and before the treachery he was something like 92nd in line to the throne. He wouldn’t be eligible to reclaim the throne as there are still a few Blackwaters that are closer in line. 3. Does magic have any downsides physically? IE, could I have a character who was 6’6”, 280lbs and built like brock lesnar be able to use blessing magics on himself? 4. How common are demonic possessions? 5. I feel like I’ve read somewhere that you said you would limit magics to 2 types, you mean I could have healing and blessings, not restos and destros right?
1. This question has already been thoroughly discussed several pages back. I suggest you go ahead and read it. The short version is: so long as the attack is direct, the Guardian won't be damaged. 2. Thus far we have only two Blackwaters. I think a third will be alright, but a fourth would be a bit too much. Make sure to give a detailed description on what the character's place is in the family tree. 3. The first description I gave to the Archmage of Ferros was the following: "The man with the tall hat had turned out to be the Archmage himself. A stoic strong man he was, as big as the mountains he was raised in, with blond hair, short beard and sharp icy eyes, which scanned the perimeter coldly, but seemed to have a different spark when looking at his wife and new son. " Brand never made any suggestions to change that and took the appearance on to their post. Thus I imagine a mage has plenty of possibilities when it comes to appearance, but of course it depends on genetics and the time they have spent training their body. Depending on what kind of magic you wield, I imagine the caster's body changes accordingly. For instance, if a magician was a pyromancer, they would have a tan. If they were a geomancer, they would definitely have a strong musculature. Skye is an aeromancer, who loves to use his magic to fly and perform aerial attacks. This makes him flexible and agile, but also a bit thinner, since weight still counts when in the air. 4. They were most likely common during the war, but they are now less. However, since we do not have a possessed character at the moment, you're free to make one. 5. The explanation is on the very first page. You can pick a maximum of two types of magics from the two categories, restos and destros.
