She's been biting and scratching at herself for the past year or so. It stopped but then it started. Bathing her didn't work and we don't have the funds to have her go through surgery.

The worst part of this being the fact that I literally woke up to this news and I was not even asked about it or told beforehand. 

Worse being the fact that I am the only one of the family going to her 'putting to sleep' thing. My mom has some BS excuse and my brothers can't handle it and are too young alike. My dad has to provide for five people so I can't blame him either.
