OK guys, what do you think of this wand explanation. Wand of Fir, core of bear tooth. The Fir wood is slender and supple, it is known to be affected by weather and the time of year making it a bit unstable for most users but is excellent for divination and soothsaying, and also protection. The bear tooth helps the wand to retain and store energy (hibernation) and also is good for protection spells. The combination is rare in modern wands, as it is cumbersome for most wizards. This wand is a family heirloom. It is one of the few things that Phelix kept of his inheritance from his home. Any other ideas or suggestions? I basically looked up Fir and Bear in celtic lore, and wanted the bear as a reference to the Ursa Major/Minor constellations.
