Kijani was delighted, she had to admit. She hadn't known Flood could play the guitar like that. The holograms were a nice touch. And then Katherin went all Ice Queen, building a beautiful castle out of ice. She applauded for both of them, and knew she was on next. In addition to her white and gold costume, Kijani put on a golden cape, one that covered her showy costume. She grabbed a toy sword that she'd made out of different sorts of sparkling paper. It was the right weight as her actual blade, so she would be able to move with it properly. The applause died down as she was announced, and she took her place. The music began, with a soft flute. She moved, her body flowing and elegant, passionate and smooth, going from motion to motion as her body and face told a story. Deep, palpable pain, at one point she was on her knees, pleading to the sky as if begging for something. Finally, she curled up into a tiny ball after three minutes, as if in defeat. And then the music shifted, going up in tempo and adding a beat. Suddenly she sprang up and threw the cape off, revealing the sword at her back. There was a smile of triumph on her face. Now she truly danced, fast and spinning on her toes. She leapt and dropped low, and kicked, the sword following her every motion. She did backflips, one after the other. Finally she flung her sword high, leaping and flipping across the stage. She ended with a twist into a no-handed landing, a full split. Her arm went up and she caught the blade in one smooth motion, and then song ended.
