Enter the youngling... *cue Imperial March* Name: Sor-Jan Xantha Age: 9 years Gender: Male Species: Anzat Appearance: A young boy who is exactingly near-human in almost all details, save for that his skin is slightly more 'ashen' or gray in complexion than that of a baseline human. The primary distinguishing characteristic is that Sor-Jan, like all Anzat, has no detectable heart rate or body rhythm, so that he appears as though a recently deceased corpse when asleep or lying prone. Sor-Jan also possesses two tendril-like proboscises, which are ordinarily retracted into cheek pouches on either side of his nose. The cheek pouches and proboscises are not visibly apparent when retracted. Identifying as Corellian, Sor-Jan wears a sage green youngling tunic in lieu of the standard Jedi brown palette. Level: Initiate (Jedi youngling) Class: N/A Force Abilities: Force Speed, Telekinesis, Force Sense, Basic Mind Trick Non-Force Related Skills: Basic Mechanical Knowledge, Basic Knowledge of Computers, Novice Understanding of First Aid, Novice Understanding of Piloting (Air Speeder) Lightsaber Forms: Form III - Soresu Lightsaber hilt and colour: Standard "Shoto" Training Lightsaber, green colour Other Equipment: 1x datapad; 1x plush "teddy wookiee", whose name is Rawr. History: As a newborn, the Anzati youngling was discovered outside of a Corellian orphanage in the hamlet of Bela Vistal and, later, adopted by a medical doctor and his wife, imparting to him the surname Xantha and naming him Sor-Jan. By the age of three, Sor-Jan had been identified by the Corellian Jedi as Force sensitive and he was taken into the custody of the Holy Order of Jedi Knights to be trained as a Jedi youngling. As of 19 BBY, Sor-Jan was part of Clan Womprat in the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, which was under the care and supervision of a Thisspiasian Consular named Azul Gol.. Note: As Sor-Jan is less than a hundred years old, he doesn't do the "vampire thing" as of yet. My take on the character/species would be that, at his age, he'd be an omnivore the same as a human.

Name: Christopher Welland Alias: Spawn (Hellspawn), Kid Spawn, Spawn Jr., etc. etc. Role: Titan Brief Bio: Ten years ago, Christopher Welland drowned after falling into a well. It was the kind of ordinary tragedy that happens in Smalltown, America as to have been utterly ignored by everyone who didn't know the Welland family. There was no heroic rescue by firefighters. There was no happy ending to the Amber Alert. Christopher had slipped and fell, breaking a leg in the process so that he had been unable to crawl back out of the flooded drainage ditch he had slipped down into. Those who attended the funeral all said the same thing, sometimes bad things just happen. There no reason to believe that anything sinister was at work behind the scenes, let alone the work of the divine. No, not God, but a higher power. A man of miracles. At the same time that Christopher Welland died, along with countless other souls all across the planet, a man named Al Simmons was being tortured to death. Somewhere between life and death, Christopher's soul became intertwined into Al Simmon's very being. Al Simmons emerged from Hell with a demon's pact that had made him into a Hellspawn, trained by Violator and then the ex-Hellspawn Cogliostro - who was in reality Cain, the first murderer. Al was unaware that Christopher and other souls were residing in his body, until a battle in which his heart was torn out. Having become the Hellspawn's heart, Christopher was now free of Al Simmon's body. And then Christopher introduced Al to all the friends that he had made, inside of Al's body, a legion of over six thousand souls. With Christopher as the heart-key of the Legion, Al Simmons was able to overcome his demons - both those within and those without - and managed to prevent Armageddon. With the task for which the legion's souls had been prepared complete, most of the legion moved on to the afterlife. But Christopher remained behind, one of a handful of the legion's souls. Perhaps to try and make a difference. Perhaps to try and experience some shade of life as we know it. Perhaps for no reason other than to make his own destiny. For whatever the reason, he is an angel from Hell or a demon from Heaven. He is the sum of all lost innocence. He is Spawn. Now he wanders, a being not of this Earth, and belonging to neither Heaven or Hell. He fights evil where he can, lifts up the impoverished, tries to bring justice to those who have none. But his greatest moment comes when he can help a soul to cross over from this life to the next, protecting them from the jealous armies of both Heaven and Hell so that they might be spared use as fodder in that never-ending story of jealousy and tragedy. Abilities: As an entity composed of roughly 9,000 units of necroplasm, Christopher is able to manipulate both tangible and intangible effects in the mortal realm as well as in Hell. He is effectively powerless, and mortal, when in the Heavenly realm.
- Super Stamina. As necroplasm is denser than human bone or tissue, Christopher weighs several hundred pounds more than he otherwise appears, making his body more durable than that of an ordinary mortal. This also contributes to his strength to a degree.

- Symbiote Armor. Having been part of Al Simmon's body, Christopher wears an identical Hellspawn suit that is composed of an off-shoot of K7-Leetha. The suit has a consciousness of its own and has been known to act in its own defense without Christopher's knowledge. As the suit is merged with his central nervous system, Christopher is able to manipulate the armor on a whim, generating chains, capes, spikes, or altering its appearance to resemble more mundane clothing.

- Shadow Teleport. Christopher's unique power, making him the heart of the Legion, Christopher is able to summon souls across the Void or even through the Veil. Using this power, he was able to teleport souls from out of Al Simmons body or summon them from the Great Beyond to the various realms or spheres of Hell.

- Nightmare Fuel. Christopher can recharge his necroplasm by drawing in the childhood phobias and nightmares of other children around him.

- Hellfire Manipulation. The most basic of the Hellspawn's power, to generate necroplasm as bolts of eldritch energy.

- Necromancy. Christopher can summon, manipulate, command, compel, and commune with the spirits of the dead.

- Flight/Phantasm Form. Christopher can make himself intangible, as though a ghost, allowing him to drift on air currents or pass through otherwise solid objects.

- Psychometry. The ability to see psychic impressions left by traumatic events concerning an object.
Personality: Merrily, merrily, merrily... life is but a dream. The heart of Spawn, the key to the Legion, Christopher Welland has now been dead for longer than he was ever alive. The memories start to fade, like the taste of a Happy Meal that turns to ash in his mouth. In dreams, he tries to remember what it was like to be alive. In reality, he's grown detached through the decades. The War in Heaven, the self-imposed task of helping lost souls to cross over, have all reinforced that he is the personification of innocence lost. Sometimes though, he can still remember how to smile. It is a very beautiful dream, life, when he can remember it. Appearance: Originally appearing as a decomposing Hellspawn who gouged out his own eyes after witnessing Billy Kinkaid's perverse actions upon other children, Christopher's form has changed significantly since his return from Beyond. He appears now as he did when he was mortal. Or, at least, in as much as he recalls his mortal appearance. He has a closely cropped shock of blond hair and eyes that are ordinarily blue - though may glow with green hellfire when he is angered. While he is always attired in a symbiote suit, Christopher is sometimes successful in altering its form to appear to be black jeans and a black hoodie in lieu of the black, red, and white Spawn costume. Affliation: Infinity, Inc.
- Blossom Utonium. Christopher was not a founding member of Infinity, Inc, even though his acquaintance with Blossom dates back to the Power Puff Girls. The two have a shared history that is bittersweet for his part in helping Professor Utonium to cross over from this life to the afterlife.

- Dexter McPherson. As a mystical creature, Christopher often offers a supernatural perspective that eschews the dogma-like pragmatism of Dexter, who is the team mate that he understands the least.

- Danny Fenton. The team mate Christopher is closest to, for obvious reasons, as their heroic adventures between the human and otherworldly realms often lead their interests to coincide.
Other: Theme song: "Demons" (Imagine Dragons)

Player Name: Bounce Character: Loki Odinson (Laufeyson) Power and Abilities: Despite being a Frost Giant by birth, perhaps through the spells of Frigga or the machinations of Odin, Loki’s abilities more closely resemble those of an Asgardian. Loki’s body tissue is three times denser than that of a mortal, making him several hundred pounds heavier than he appears despite his small stature, while also being extremely durable, providing him with superhuman stamina and endurance. This also contributes to his strength, which is superior to that of a mortal man’s while being less than that of his “brother”, Thor. Loki is also able to regenerate damaged tissue, provided that he is not so severely injured as to be fatal (he is immortal, not invulnerable). Loki is immune to all known diseases and infections on Midgard, and speaks in the All-Tongue – the language of Asgard, which all men hear as their own language. Despite his obvious physical advantages, Loki is primarily a sorcerer. It is possible that his understanding of the mystica arcana could rival that of Stephen Strange, but Loki knows that, through the Cycle of Ragnarok, he has likely forgotten more than he will ever remember knowing. The range of abilities that Loki displays include the casting of fully tactile, even self-aware illusions, telekinesis, extra-sensory perception, psychometry, reality manipulation, access to the Astral Plane, and the crafting of spells (typically scrolls). Two known limitations of his power are that Loki is weaker on Midgard than on Asgard, owing to his birth was not of Gaea, and he can neither read people’s thoughts nor control their actions. Affiliation: Asgardian Pantheon Alignment: Walking the Line (Chaotic Good). Character Notes: While this version of the character is intended to be Kid Loki, he uses his powers of illusion to appear to be an adult version of himself. He may even appear female, if he feels that such would be to his advantage in manipulating the situation. NPCs of Note: Leah, Handmaiden of Sif; Thori, Ikol Background and Story So Far: What if saving everything you hold dear meant having to let it burn? To be the hand that lit the flame? Would you sacrifice yourself for those you love, if the price of saving them meant that you would become the object of their immortal hatred? You see, this is a story of a time long, long ago. A tale of heroes. A tale of villains. A story with many parts, and one very important lesson. Everything that has a beginning, has an end. I am Loki, whose whim brought Asgard crashing down. I am Loki, whose tongue was an anvil where the sharpest lies were forged. I am Loki, and I have things to say that you must know. I am Loki, who you must not trust. It is impossible to know where Loki’s story begins. This is not the first Loki, nor will it be the last. He has lived before and will do so again, when this body he occupies now has fallen. And it will fall, because that is his purpose. Loki will kill Balder. Heimdall will kill Loki. The AEsir will fall. The World Tree will break apart in waters that will send a deluge through all the nine realms. And then the waters will recede. Two on each realm will survive, to repopulate the world. Old friends will meet again. And the Cycle... And the story will continue. What makes Loki unique among the Asgardians is that he is aware of the Story and so very aware of his place in it. It is not the part that he would write for himself, and he has – at times – attempted to write a new chapter into the Story, so give himself a different role, each time to consequences most dire. No matter what he does, no matter who he loves, no matter what outcome... He is Loki. And that is his destiny and his destiny, alone. In this current Story, as in many such before, he was born a weak and small Frost Giant, exposed to the elements by his father, Laufey, and left to die. Had this happened, perhaps the World Tree would be a better place, but that was not what was foretold. A war raged between Jotunheim and Asgard, a war which had brought Odin through the Bifrost to the frozen wastes to do battle, and it was there that the first mistake was made. Odin took pity on Loki, bringing him back to Asgard as a trophy, as hope for a future peace between Jotunheim and Asgard, and as his son. The magic of Asgard transformed the Frost Giant infant into the likeness of a young Asgardian, the youngest of a pantheon of champions. The babe, left to die, now had a family, including two older brothers: Thor, God of Thunder, and Balder, the Brave. Often accompanying the Lady Sif, Loki became a companion to Thor and the Warrior’s Three. He became known for his mischief and trickery, playing with powers of illusion and the creation of games, which often only Loki could appreciate. And then he met himself. A magpie visited the Child-God in the night, leading him down into an ancient catacomb that held scrolls of stories Asgard had forgotten. And it was there, in one such scroll, that Loki found a message left for him by Loki – an echo of himself from a prior Ragnarok. This led to the second mistake. He could have destroyed the scroll. He should have destroyed the scroll. But he didn’t. He cast the scroll into magpie, giving form and life to the echo of his former self, which he called Ikol. And Ikol told Loki many things, some of which are yet to be written, and many more of which the young god did not want to hear. But he needed to hear them, because he was Loki, and he would have a part to play in the Chapters to come. Odin would fall into the Odinsleep, and Thor would be on Midgard. Balder would abdicate his responsibilities. And Loki? Loki would ascend to the throne of Asgard. A Frost Giant on the throne of Asgard. If the Warrior’s Three knew, Loki would find himself in a rather delicate predicament. But, Loki’s part was not yet done. Because Thor was in trouble. Tides of darkness approached, the likes of which his brother would be unprepared to deal with. Unprepared, as he was now. Thor would become stronger. Loki would ensure that Thor became stronger, because Thor had a part to play, and Loki had to prepare him for it. All it would cost Loki is a brother’s love. But that was only the first of many sins. Necessary evils if the World Tree was to survive the next coming of Ragnarok. What did the poet say? All the world’s a stage and we, but players in’t.

Player Name: Bounce Character: Katherine Margaret "Katie" Power (Energizer) Power and Abilities: Katie is a human empowered by the Kymellian sorcerer Aelfrye Whitemane with one-quarter of his own power. Specifically, Katie represents the physical principle of energy. Through physical contact, Katie functions by breaking down the molecular bonds of a solid, liquid, or gas and transferring the electrons. She can then expel the pent up energy through solid, concussive projections which typically first take shape as power balls on her chest or hands, from out of which the energy projection is then fired. Katie is also capable of absorbing directed energy attacks. It should be noted that solid and semi-solid objects provide her significantly more 'fuel' than if she tries to disintegrate and absorb energy from a gas. As a secondary effect of possessing the Kymellian energy power, Katie also has a minor healing factor which must be consciously activated and requires the ability to focus and concentrate in order for her to use that ability. Katie's absorption potential is finite and she experiences physical pain as she begins to reach her maximum tolerance, at which her body will reflexively expel the stored energy violently. While in possession of Kymellian sorcery, even to the marginal degree to which she currently possesses it, Katie has access to another dimensional plane known as Elsewhere. A suit of unstable molecules appropriately emblazoned with the symbol for energy (yellow starburst) is maintained for her by the native beings of Elsewhere. By using the command 'costume on,' Katie can summon the suit on demand. If she is wearing any clothes at the time, those garments will be replaced with the suit instantaneously. The command 'costume off' reverses the transformation. The pockets of the suit are dimensional gateways to Elsewhere, allowing her to store an indeterminate amount of volume in her pockets, provided she can put the object in her pocket without tearing the suit. A tear could result in opening a rift through which one could fall into Elsewhere. Affiliation: Power Pack, The Xavier School Alignment: Hero (Neutral Good) Character Notes: This interpretation of the character blends the canon (Marvel 616) character of Katie Power with the Marvel Adventures version of the same, taking the origin story of the original and omitting the part of the canon Power Pack series in which the character possessed the velocity power (Lightspeed) and the gravity power (Counterweight). In terms of relative age and personality, she's the same as her Marvel Adventures counterpart (as opposed to her younger 616 self). NPCs of note: Friday (alien AI), Carter Ghazikhanian, Annie Ghazikhanian Background and Story So Far: Katherine, always referred to as Katie, is the fourth child of James and Margaret Power, the second of two girls, the younger sister of Alexander, Julia, and Jack Power; with whom she formed the four person superhero team known as Power Pack. Her father was a physicist working under a U.S. government contract to develop a means of producing an alternative energy source, primarily through the use of anti-matter particles. Unknown to Dr. Power, two different alien species were observing him on Earth and concerned with his discovery. The power hungry Maraud of the Z'nrx wanted an anti-matter weapon for use against all the other races of the universe, while the Kymellian sorcerer Aelfrye Whitename intended to stop Dr. Power from completing his research as the Kymellians had seen device such as the one Dr. Power was designing cause great damage, despite all good intentions. Whitemane knew that Dr. Power's invention could trigger a chain reaction that would destroy the planet Earth. Whitemane revealed himself one evening when the Z'nrx (Snarks) came to capture Powers. Though the Snarks did manage to abduct James and his wife Margaret, Whitemane had managed to save the four children from being captured. Sadly, during the fighting with the Snarks Aelfrye was mortally wounded. Dying, Whitemane transferred a portion of his alien powers into each of the four and tasked them with rescuing their parents, preventing the Snarks from obtaining their father's research, and preventing their father's work from destroying their world. No small order, given that Alex was 14, Julie was 12, Jack was 8, and Katie was 5 at the time. With the aid of Whitemane's smartship, known as Friday, the children were able to pursue the Snarks and learned to use the powers that the Kymellian sorcerer had given them in what amounted to superhero on-the-job training. Of the four aspects (gravity, velocity, density, and energy) Katie received the energy power and took the name Energizer. Despite her small stature, limited physical strength, and the fact that she didn't have much control over her power; Katie proved herself to be the group's most powerful member. The four siblings did accomplish everything Whitemane had tasked them with and returned to their home in New York without their parents knowing that they were now super-powered. Taking the name Power Pack, the four ventured out to use their powers for the good of those around them. Aelfrye's cousin, Kofi Whitemane, traveled to Earth in search of Power Pack in order to warn them of a new threat in the Snark upstart, Maraud's son Jakal. Kofi's ship was shot down, but he appeared in a dream to Carter Ghazikhanian; who had been seeing visions of the Power Pack. Guided by this developing dream sight, Carter met the Power Pack in Central Park and was able to lead them to the injured Kofi. The group was ambushed by Jakal's soldiers, but with Kofi and Carter at their side was able to fend off their attackers. After this, Carter joined the team as its fifth member (and the only one not a blood relative), taking the hero name Tattletale at Katie's suggestion. When one of Alex's classmates died of a drug overdose, the Power Pack took on a more mundane enemy; the Garbage Man and his Trash gang. The Pack traveled to Elsewhere after Katie fell into the extra-dimensional pocket on her costume and ended up in the realm where their costumes were cleaned and transported. While in this dimension, the children visited the artificial Kymellian homeworld and learned that Kofi's father Yrik Whitemane had brainwashed their parents to ensure the children's abilities could remain secret. Angered by the unwanted intervention into their parents lives, Power Pack left Kymellia just before Maraud attacked it. Power Pack encountered Numinus, the cosmic embodiment of the wonders of the universe, and learned they were intended to save the Kymellians from extinction. Returning to Kymellia, they ran into Maraud who held Kymellia ransom in exchange for the powers of Aelfrye Whitemane. The children voluntarily transferred their powers to Maraud, but fought to reclaim them when the Snark warrior betrayed them and attacked Kymellia anyway. When Carter's mother, Nurse Annie Ghazikhanian, took a job at the Xavier School she also had her son enrolled after discovering it was a school for mutants. While not exposing Katie's secret to her parents, Annie was successful in convincing the Powers to enroll Katie at the Xavier School, where she could learn to live with her powers in the open and refine her control so not to live in fear of hurting others through their accidental discharge.
