Waking from a coma all of the sudden without any previous care and having it be the zombie apocalypse is
A. cliche' in the extreme
and
B. somewhat unrealistic. 

Could you come up with a more original storyline please? She could have just barely scraped by the last year or so by tagging along with a group that was recently killed off or whatever.
