Michelle stared at the odd boy as he accepted her hand and then started talking to himself. The people coming to Beacon were certainly odd folk. Michelle thought it best to leave him for now and move on. Turning away from him and entering the school, she marveled at the place, it being so different from her home. Then she wondered when the opening ceremony would start. Michelle reasoned that that info would be announced when it was time, and that she wouldn't need to worry about it for a while. She stopped at a wall displaying a map of Beacon, as well as her location on it, and wondered where to go. Then her stomach growled softly, and she looked down at it while placing her hand on it. It seemed that she was a bit peckish, so she should probably head over to the cafeteria to get something to eat. After a quick examination of the map to determine the best path, she set off towards the cafeteria, reaching it after a minute or so. She knew the cafeteria was large, judging from the map, but she was still somewhat overwhelmed by it. Quickly snapping out of it, she grabbed a tray and headed over to the line of people waiting for the food. Leaving the line with a modest pile of food, she sat down at an empty spot on a bench, and began to eat. It was quite good for cafeteria food, compared to other places. Michelle continued to eat quietly while looking around the place. There was nothing unusual, though, just people chatting with each other.
