Apologies, I've been busy with homework, my mom's griping, and new games.

Speaking of which, I have a really good basis for my backstory now, after playing Mount & Blade. The backstory will be more plot-friendly, since one of his great-great-great-great-etc ancestors was essentially a smith who lost his loved ones, ran off and traveled, found a new place and essentially raised a group of soldiers who looted and pillaged enemies of the state, and eventually he became a lord, etc. etc. etc, and so it was just his legacy to learn all the old-stuffs, so he's more old-fashioned and the like than others.
