Kayleb's initial greeting brought no response. The demon armed man was in front of a painting or sketch of some sort which depicted a fearsome looking demon. There was also an unknown woman there and the 2 had seemingly just finished their conversation. 'Uh, I'll leave you alone then...' Kayleb said, getting up slowly, as he prepared to teleport. After all, he really shouldn't be there (probably). Kayleb had no idea where he was but he knew the direction he teleported in and envisioned himself going back to that direction. The tugging feeling returned and thankfully, Saydie didn't interrupt his concentration this time. Kayleb rode the teleport tunnel and stepped into the courtyard, landing successfully. It was a few seconds before the cold got to him. 'Ueh' Kayleb yelped in surprise at the cold wind chilling his spine. Cold! Saydie complained. 'Sorry.' Kayleb said, crossing his arms over Saydie in a bid to keep himself warm. He seemed to be near the entrance of the courtyard. 'Looks like I overshot.' Kayleb said, shivering a little. Kayleb turned around and encountered something he certainly didn't expect. A man with a top hat was sprawled on the floor but what was stranger was that the floor under him was cracked. Saydie gasped as he saw it. It's a dead body! She said in surprise. 'Calm down, Saydie. I don't think he's dead.' Kayleb said. But, he must have fallen, like, 100 feet or something! Kayleb supposed she must be right, but there was no blood and the man looked like he was just unconscious. And if this was the magic academy he had heard of from the old Chinese man he'd been living with for 4 years, then falling 100 feet with no damage wasn't impossible. Kayleb decided that he couldn't be sure if he was dead. And what's the first thing you do to a guy that might be dead? Kayleb did the thing that anyone would. Kayleb went up to the top hatted possibly-a-dead-body, squatted down and poked his side. 'Um...' Kayleb said, poking him a few more times. 'Are you okay, sir?'
