The Doctor was looking at her. He knew that he would keep her safe, "I will keep you safe," He knew he didn't always get on the best with their kind either. "I don't get on well with them either, hoping these ones won't know me."
He could tell something was bothering her, He stayed nearby and was trying to keep her calm. He was sure that they could do this though. Everything depended on whether they could trick and capture them.
