I had reservations about PLvsAA at first too. I'd played the first Layton and found that it was okay, skipping the rest of the series, but PLvsAA is... really damn good. Not quite as good as the best of the AA series, but still a really damn good game. I think it's worth it if you can find it for a good price. 

What characters are you maining as in Smash? 8D I like Toon Link, Kirby, Jigglypuff and Captain Falcon! >8D
