John grunts as he's kicked and prepares to endure more of Austin's painful attacks, but is suddenly surprised by a deluge of water. He suits up and shoves Austin back, then powers down as he spots Kat. He glances at Austin and whispers, "I'd forget about trying anything, she could kick both of our asses if we made her mad. Good job, kid." As he begins to walk towards Kat, a white tendril snakes out from his back and pokes Austin in the chest, where it stays for a moment as it heals him of any and all injuries. John momentarily has the breath knocked out of him, but quickly recovers. Though still dripping with blood, John grins and says to Kat, "Welcome back, Kitty Kat! What took you so long to get here?"
