Ivan stepped out of the forest through the thicket of trees. His face had been twisted into a scowl, and his gun was out of it's holster. He had separated from the hunting party when Lillith, the stupid girl Vlad had told him to watch, had ran away. Looking up from the ground, he was able to see the gate closing, and a male and another female walking in with Lillith. 
"I'm going to kill her," he mumbled to himself as he made his way toward the now opening gate, "I really am."

Vlad looked down at the kitsune and smiled darkly. Everything was going along to plan. His hand met the top of her head and started to scratch lightly behind the ears, and then went to pet the top of her head as if she was a small animal. After a while, he stopped and spoke to her softly, as an owner would their animal. 
"Let's go, Danni. Let's go see your daughter."

About ten minutes later, the service elevator opened up and out walked Vlad, followed by the kitsune, and then a couple guards behind them both to make sure nothing happened to him. The shape shifting vampire walked along the long hall, whistling a small tune as he did so. When they arrived outside the dining hall entrance, Vlad turned to Danni and looked her in the eyes.
"Listen to me, Danni," he said softly, using his power as he did so as a precaution. "You will [i]not[/i], under no circumstances, tell Delilah the truth. At all. If you do, both of you will be killed. You will sleep in your own chambers, and will have the whole grounds to roam about; all you cannot do is go out of the castle, at all. You will get to spend all the time you want with your daughter, but when I say you can't, you can't. You will have a strict curfew. Any other rules I come up with in the future, you will obey. Now, let's go see Delilah."

The door was pushed open, and Vlad stepped inside. Upon seeing his adoptive daughter, his eyes lit up a little, and a small smile spread across his lips. "Delilah, I have something you might want to see." He turned his head to motion for Danni to walk in, and when she did, he pulled her close. "Your mom is back."
