Well, Thunderhawk certainly put the 'brief' in [i]briefing[/i]. Selan reached for her glass at the explanation and took a long, drawn-out sip, seemingly deep in thought.

Lisette looked... confused. She fidgeted with her hands as the others asked the pertinent questions that would follow such a troubling revelation. Her childish demeanor faded somewhat as her natural fondness for investigating and doling out justice came back to the surface. It was, after all, the reason why she begged and begged her father to allow her to become a Guilder. 

"Why would they go missing?" she asked. She wasn't [i]completely[/i] clueness, and knew about the dangers that women and girls could potentially face in crowded places like this, but the possible 'whys' were eluding her. "Can we get some kind of list of the missing persons?"
