Kennedy watched the man with narrowed eyes, listening to his story. As he continued speaking, his story became more and more unbelievable. His words came out faster and faster until he was out of breath with his last word. Kennedy couldn't help but laugh lightly to herself, a wide smile appearing on her face. "That's a good one mister." She laughed a little more until she looked back to the man, seeing on his face that he was being completely serious. "You aren't joking are you?" As his hand extended in greeting, she returned the gesture. She shook his hand and then composed herself. "Nice to meet you as well. I'm Kennedy." She let out a long breath and stared at the floor for a moment before looking back up. "Okay so... you live in an underwater city... from another dimension?" She swallowed, her mouth becoming dry. "Like, a different world?" Her head was spinning a little. "Okay Jonathan, these 'tear' things... you can... open them?" A puzzled look remained on her face.
