Spectre smiled as he spoke with Banshee, the old gunsmith nodded as they chatted about firearms and battles long past. Spectre had just stopped by to give Banshee some weapons he found in a golden age cache, he owed him for their last card game. That’s when he heard approaching footsteps, he turned and was greeted with Amanda Holliday and Cayde-6. He gave them a warm smile that spoke to his worry. “Is this an intervention about my pranks on the Vanguard? Because their is no way I’m stopping until Zavala apologizes for what he did.” “No, you’ve got a mission, straight from the council, my call to put you on the team so don’t disappoint. Holliday’s going to give you special gear” Cayde replied before continuing “Oh and before I forget you're taking a shuttle, docking bay thirty-three twenty minutes till launch move it Spectre.” Said Cayde as he walked back towards the hall of guardians for no doubt angry he couldn’t go with them. Holliday ran him through the tech, even gave him two beacons which were getting rarer by the day, thanks to the cabal. What ever the council thought was down there scared them bad. These beacons would let them talk to the tower and send transmissions back without fear of interception from the Fallen. After the long run down of tech procedures that he already knew and a punch in the shoulder for luck Holliday let him go, of course on the way out he did happen to ‘borrow’ a demolition charge, just in case. He walked down to the docking bay smiling he entered the shuttle first storing his crate of tech and making sure it was latched down tight. He then looked at those already on board taking a seat as he donned his helmet “So who here besides me thinks the council is lying outs it ass about the mission parameters?”
