[b]|Biography|[/b]
[i]Born in a small village of Egreen, Katarina was raised by a loving couple and her older sister, Juliet. The small family was definitely not wealthy, but they had always gotten along just fine selling baskets and poached animal hides. However, when the girl was 7 years old, a group of bandits attacked the isolated village, killing and capturing everyone but Kat's father, who had been out hunting, and the girl herself. Thinking her father was dead, Kat set off in search of her captured sister, but found only abandoned campfires for weeks. 3 months later, her hard work finally paid off- Kat had caught up with the bandits. She observed them for a week, not knowing really what to do; she was only seven, after all. Deciding to break in to the camp when the thieves were out scavenging, Kat found the corpses of her mother and her dying sister. Panicked, she dragged Juliet out into the woods, trying to nurture her back to life, but when she returned to their small camp one afternoon, Kat only found a few bandits and Juliet's body.

The girl traveled to the nearest town she could find, hoping someone would take her in. A few days of sleeping on the streets later, a powerful traveling witch who had been searching for apprentices took her in. With the lady, Kat studied magic for a few years and, using the skills her father had taught her, hunted for the animals that fed them. Go forward a few years, and we find Katarina alone in the woods, having gotten bored of studying magic. For money, the girl took on bounty hunting requests and sold animals she killed. In search of something more to do with her life, Kat journeyed to Sunia, hoping to find something challenging and entertaining for the young girl.[/i]

[b]Other:[/b][i]Katarina's bow was passed down to her from a long line of hunters/archers. Somewhere up there in her family tree, the initial receiver of the bow had enchanted it to have many special skills which Kat has yet to discover. For now, the girl has no idea why she can so easily use [/i]her[i]bow but doesn't have the strength to wield any others.[/i][/hider]
