After one cailed attack, Mutt got a sense of what the papers were doing and had to weigh his odds. He could attempt another interupt and risk being point blank as you unleashe the spell, or he could get ready to dodge. Ultimately he decided that his speed would get him out of mostly any trouble, so he went for attack.

Mutt slammed a fist into the ground hurlig yet another small barage of large stone straight towards meruin, then once more he dashed forward for te strike, using the boulders as cover to disquise his flank attempt. He flanked to the same side, then released his armour allowing for one full speed strike. Mutt went to grab for Meruin, and if his claws so much as glanced them, he would follow up with several devastating headbuds, just as he had done earlier. The difference was, now without armour, Mutt could move an react much faster to any attempts to escape.
