The Graces do sound like an interesting idea to me, personally I enjoy messing around with very specialized powers. Seeing how creative you can get with them. For The Nine perhaps he needs them for a project that requires being looked at from those nine different points of view to be possible. Or maybe he needs them all for a heist or something? I don't know. That's just what popped into my head when I reread the idea.
