Synergy of race with class; thats a No-no. simply because otherwise people would just generate new races to uber their new class. 
you can have a OOC(out of combat) skill that is a utility or just general skill, LIke for instance maybe when out of combat they can open their 'third eye' and 2x normal distance? but when in combat its disabled, eh whatever. As for class, I'll go over that when you put it up. its easier.
