The water bolts of Tyler began dissolving midair. That was the kind of heat the spell of Meruin was emitting. They had given her too much time, and now it was [i]over[/i].

Meruin's barrier was completely out, so she had to move now. Again, that was what the papers were for. She stepped on one of her own papers and teleported a good distance away, and finally finished her Aria. "This is the time!"

The giant combination of earth and lava began spinning around, throwing waves of heat everywhere, before shooting up into the sky, and vanishing beneath the clouds. Suddenly, the above them turned fiery in color, and soon, truck sized meteorites were falling from the sky, each of them with a glowing symbol on them. The same glowing symbol was now glowing beneath Mutt, Tyler, and Sol. 

As for Meruin herself, that spell had taken everything out of her, so now she wa just sitting on her backside panting tiredly. If this didn't work and take them out all at once, she was out definitely of the fight.
