Their history like many other vampires were filled with blood-draining and savagery. In the beginning, they went without a name, just a small group of vampires that found a new hunting ground. However, the strongest of them all, a being that held an archaic charisma found meaning where chaos ruled. He often believed them to be greater beings but as decades would go by, he would waver and feel sympathy for the humans. His clan would prey on the humans for a set amount of years and then out of guilt, switch to livestock at the behest of the patriarch. This period of time was very vexing for the them, for it was during these months that the Izanagi found themselves reaching their limits and then shedding the blood of the innocent callously, like the monsters that they were. It was several centuries later, when civilization had really started taking off had things begun to calm down. People were not so easily frightened and it became obvious that they held the majority. With the first patriarch long dead and the second taking the reigns, the Izanagi adapted to the situation. He ruled from the shadows, pulling the strings of the "emperors". Subtle movements, decrees that were to be followed by all vampires in Asia traveled silently on his whispers. Vampires were not to act radically, they were not to kill recklessly, and were not to be found out. Of course this was doing the time of farmers and wandering warriors, it was easy enough to not be caught and yet the paranoia still loomed. Skip a few generations and the feudal era would become a corner stone for the Izanagi family, whose name and "apocalyptic" actions throughout history would become the structure for many legends and mythical gods. Unbeknownst to the populace, a grand scheme of string-pulling and threats would give the family control over most of Asia. A vast amount of vampires were under their control and as such, it was only natural that they rule unchallenged. However the laxness of the current head: Shinku Izanagi would lead their family into a grave situation, along with every vampire clan in Asia. Unlike the other heads, he cared little for the political and humane views of the world. The surface did not pertain to him, so its wars and wretchedness flew over his head. But in his inattentiveness, the west had carried over into his territory and forced a insurmountable amount of changes. When he finally took the time to address the situation, it had all been irreparable. He would have to rebuild the kingdom that his primordial ancestor had created. With his actions sweeping across the vampire lines stretching throughout Asia, the vampires that still believed in the Izanagi family -and they were many- had sent their allegiance to him and readied themselves for whatever orders were to be given. Unlike others at the time, the Izanagi had always found themselves accustomed to war, siding with whichever would benefit them the most; their blades were never for hire but rarely ever used on each other. Familial Political Support: Liberal Appearance: Indifference is a steady expression that lays on his face. Porcelain white skin sets the tone for edgy dark eyes, a chilling combination that gives him a inhuman disposition towards the normal. While dark hair sits atop his angular and sharp features in slick curls, giving him a rather brutish appearance, its his six-foot-one height that usually intimidates others. His slim build, though muscular and athletic beneath his clothes, can only be described as ghastly menacing and predatory. His pouty pink lips is delectable in image and his ears a tad bit sharper than most. True Age: 829 yrs old. Blood Lust Affinity: Those that are capable of understanding him on a deeper level than others. History: Born into nobility and raised to believe he was apart of a higher state of being, Shinku always carried a very dense air of supremacy. For decades his parents spent their time trying to lull a indifferent prince into caring for his duties but it was difficult to say the least. He walked around with ill-deserved confidence, often gorging himself on entire families throughout the 1100 and 1200s. It is in Edo(Tokyo), Japan that Shinku found himself prowling for victims and carelessly throwing around his weight. It was not until the death of his parents in the 1500's, upon causes that he didn't necessarily care for, did he take the throne. Advisers and such orchestrated his image but none was capable of budging him to lead. A few attempted to see this as a chance to head the Izanagi but Shinku was very perceptive; despite his negligence to the world. He would often bide his time, waiting for the supposed traitor to make an appearance before mercilessly killing them. It was during his first century as head that he orchestrated the battles between feudal lords; unlike any other, Oda Nobunaga's life made him proud. He deemed it a fitting end for a dramatic story. He was absent for the prologue of Tokugawa Ieyasu's battle with western religion, but he remembers chuckling at the news. Religion was nothing but the ill-conceived thoughts of those that could not believe in themselves, or so he thought. During the next few centuries, lost in his own machinations and pursuits, the vampire community became laxed and reckless. There was a small period during the Feudal Era that wicked demons had become hunted for sport. At the realization of this and the nagging of his advisers. Shinku stepped up and quickly put everything back in order. It seemed that a snake without its head was nothing but a defenseless body. Just before the wars started up again (world war I), he found himself delving back into his underground kingdom, ignorant of world's turmoil. When he was pulled out by the call of another, Shinku was surprised at the amount of change that had occurred in the world.
