Name: Cerise Marchand Age/DOB: April 26, 1927 (16) Gender: Female Physical Description: 162cm and about 59kg. Light brown hair, naturally curly/frizzy. Heart shaped face and light hazel eyes. Small framed body with a bit of remaining childhood weight. Skills: Cerise is adept at being motherly, or sisterly, as the occasion calls for. Organized and seemingly always ready for whatever is thrown at her. As her father is a tailor, she's picked up more than a few of his skills and talents. Full on disguises may take her some time, but if you need secret pockets, she can hook you up in a jiff. She’s also a pretty fantastic cook. History: The oldest of three children by six years, Cerise has already had her fair share of parenting in helping to raise her younger sister (10) and brother (7). Her parents met barely a year before she would be born, both members of a scarred generation who had seen too many family members and friends die to war or disease. Though perhaps they had rushed marriage, after only having known the other for a few months, these circumstances were reflected in the household and home they provided Cerise and later, her siblings. Cerise grew up knowing she was loved, but in an overprotected and conservative environment. She chafed in that, as she grew older. The limitations, the worry, the responsibilities pushed and forced on her. Her parents had created an insular world that their daughter wanted nothing more than to break out of. When war threatened to ravage their lives once more, her parents did their best to hide the realities from all three children. But it wasn't something that could last forever. And so very unlike her parents, Cerise wanted to do something, anything, about it. A school mate was the one to extend information about the resistance group Cerise joined. It is a secret she hides from many, but most painfully, her parents. But Cerise had been acting out already, her parents are concerned, but so far, unaware of their daughter's true activities. Cerise hides one other secret from both parents and peers. She is about two months pregnant. This has terrified her and she has no idea who to speak to about her condition. She told the father of her unborn child, the man she had been seeing, but he ended their relationship and has ignored her pleas for marriage or help. Psychological Profile: Cerise is a girl nearly a woman confused on how to do the right thing when there are two moral compasses. Though she has frequently rebelled against the strict nature of her parents, she has always felt guilt for her actions that have brought disappointment and anguish. In the midst of trying to figure out the balance between who she was and who her parents wanted her to be, a war happened. She has decided, against her parents’ better wishes if they knew, that doing what she could for the Resistance was more important, was vital to who she wanted to be. Usually reserved, she is quick to offer others her shoulder or a friendly face to tell their woes. For her to do the same though, to confide in another, is quite unlikely. She keeps her problems and worries to herself, a byproduct of her very insular childhood.
