Name: Winston O’Brien

Family: Winston hails from the clan O’Brien in Western Ireland. For centuries the people knew what that the clan O’Brien was, but inspite of that no one ever held it against the clan and they were treated as equals within the land. The clan had but one job; to protect the Nobles of the land. They were basically the private army of the Nobles. There were dozens of members within the clan however to protect the Nobles of the land it only took at most two members of the clan. 
The clan not only relied on their “gifts” to protect, but the clan was allowed to train alongside many of the greatest warriors in Ireland. This was to not only enhance their reputations but also should something happen and their “gifts” fail them somehow someway they still knew how to defend themselves. To keep the clan fed anyone who broke the law was subject to becoming food for the clan, or if there was combat the prisoners were taken and given to the clan as food. In any case the Nobles always made sure the 
clan was fed. 

The Nobles and the clan lived in peace for generations, but one family changed everything forever and destroyed the peace. One of the Noble Families, the Hansons, felt that clan was dangerous and was not to be trusted. This distrust was because the clan knew that the Hansons were plotting a very quiet coup against the rest of the Nobles and the Hansons had to act quickly in order to keep their coup alive. The Hansons began framing the clan for a series of crimes, and feedings upon the Nobles and their livestock. 
The clan saw the writing on the wall and made arrangements for Winston, the youngest member of the clan, to escape to the United States before it was too late. Two days after he fled Ireland…the Nobles and the clan declared war on one another. Eventually the two sides realized that the Hansons had played them for fools, and they banded together to defeat the Hansons. However the trust was gone, and even today though there is a truce the past has left an open wound that may never fully heal.

Familial Political Support: Liberal. Winston doesn’t seek to use his “gifts” to subjugate others to his will and seeks justice for one and all.

History: Winston arrived in the United States with nothing more than the clothes on his back. The minute he stepped off of the boat Winston knew that surviving just on his own was going to be a challenge. Let alone if anyone found out about who he really was. 

As Winston was walking along the docks there was a man running by who had just robbed a woman. Winston immediately took action and caught the man. The woman’s name was Sara and she invited Winston to stay with her. With a roof over his head Winston was determined to make it on his own terms and not rely on the charity of others. Winston’s blood lust was only outweighed by his drive for justice, so he asked to join the local police force. They remembered Winston from the docks and offered him a position as a deputy which he gladly accepted. Winston agreed to work at night, because he used the excuse that he had a skin condition in which sunlight caused him great pain.

Winston did everything he could to keep his secret from Sara eventually though Sara found out his secret, and she was naturally afraid of him, but she loved him still as he loved her. However though both knew that their love could never be. Not wishing to cause trouble Winston left town and taking work wherever he could find it for years and years. He was driven though to seek justice for others. That was when he discovered his calling…Bounty Hunting. It allowed Winston to travel from place to place, carry out justice, and no emotional attachments.
