Wood carving was not an act she had expected and the dance was skillful, but Kats attention was distracted by the sound of the doors. With the interval coming up people were trying to get out before the rush she supposed, but couldn’t, the doors were locked and confusion began to ripple through the room. There was no purpose to locking them in, not if everything was fine, which could only lead her to believe everything was not. The confusion had spread by this point, the announcement of the next act left abandoned while people began to stand and either try to help open the doors or talk amongst themselves in hushed voices. Standing herself, she faintly cursed her outfit choice of the day before stepping away from the seating. And then suddenly all the doors swung open but the students remained inside when they saw what was on the other side. We’ve been herded. Kat thought as she saw the unknown, intimidating forces step into the gym. There was only a few at each door but it was clear they were capable and no-one would be getting past them any time soon. Kat calmly looked at each one in turn, a faint shimmer appearing about her fingertips. But she didn’t act, not yet. Instead she watched as an older man walked in, a purple cape hanging from his shoulders and a helmet which only left his face uncovered. “Hello students. I’ve come to have a talk with you.” Said Erik Lehnsherr as he regarded the group before him.
