The red-haired mage let out a sigh of relief as Sho and Minerva took their upcoming fight outdoors. He took one last drag on his cigarette as he looked over at Sasha and Lazarus. The new girl, Riye, had tried to talk with them. But as she gave up and started to head outside, Maddox heard the loud crashing noise. For a moment, he wondered what that could've been. That sounded like a building falling down, he thought to himself with a chuckle. But as he blew out the smoke and flicked the cigarette across the guild hall, landing perfectly in an ashtray on the bar, he realized what it was. Maddox stood up and adjusted his coat slightly before trudging to the door. Greeting the others had to wait a moment longer. As he stepped outside, his red eyes settled on Sho and Minerva. Then Riye, who seemed to be trying to recruit either of them as a teammate. Then he saw the leveled building nearby. A frown formed on his face as he approached the small group. Once next to them, he crossed his arms and gave both Minerva and Sho a stern gaze. "I said one thing," he announced his presence, closing his eyes and shaking his head. "You realize that damage will have to be compensated by Master Jamie, right?" He looked over at Riye now. He knew she was innocent, so his gaze wasn't nearly as stern with her. "She won't be pleased. Not very good looking for newcomers, wouldn't you say?" Maddox shook his head again before placing his knuckles to the bridge of his nose. "You two are going to have to pay for that." He opened his red eyes and brought them back to the fighters. "And it would probably be best to do so before Jamie finds out. It will affect his mood, after all. And our reputation." Once again, Maddox stood upright and crossed his arms. "You girl... Riye, I believe I heard, you didn't do anything. So you aren't in trouble."
