Name: Phoenix Anderson, or most commonly known by his alias, Myth. Gender: Hobblegofen! Just kiddin', he's a male man. Age: 25 Shifter Form: Manticore Appearance: http://media-cache-cd0.pinimg.com/236x/79/d6/1b/79d61bd5e7a02a21b32d5d8ddfa0a0e3.jpg 5' 9", at about 170 lbs. Not really tan, either. He's brown haired, with murky green eyes. He's also got scars on both his hands and arms, for reasons he doesn't reveal. Some are straight and were possibly deep when they were inflicted, and others were jagged and short, presumably from a much slower cut. Generally, his eyes are hard and unforgiving; he doesn't like anyone messing with him unnecessarily. Somewhat broad-shouldered, with a wiry, thicker-than-thin frame. Shifter Appearance: http://th08.deviantart.net/fs71/PRE/i/2013/221/a/d/percy_jackson_manticore_by_sebastianmeyer-d6he8cc.jpg A large half-feline half-scorpion creature, armed with a scorpion tail that has a pincer instead of a stinger, which can shoot darts. The darts are poisoned with the same stuff that's on his fangs, and the same stuff he can spit. He has rough, matted fur with brown and black in random patterns, and what would be his waist below is all scorpion: hard exoskeleton, completely black. His upper/forward body has more flexibility, and can take blunt hits easier, but sharp, penetrating items do more damage. His lower/rear can resist penetrating damage, though powerful blunt hits will most likely crack the exoskeleton once it reaches the extent of the exoskeletons' strength. Otherwise, the exoskeleton will remain relatively unharmed no matter what hits it, unless it's above a certain amount of force at a right spot.\ In other words, arrows hurt in his forward areas, but not in his rear. Smashing hurts in forward, but doesn't break as much. Smashing by larger Titan in rear will most likely cripple him. Abilities: Able to spit poison, human form knows both dual-war-axe and crossbow. Because of the nature of the Manticore, in both human and shifted forms, he has superior turning, reaction, and speed than most other creatures his size. Short bursts of speed, for running to one bit of cover to the other, or to reach a larger enemy and possibly climb up on it. Also an expert horseman and loves jousting/anything with a long pointy stick pointing against enemy/rival while on horse. This includes pikes, lances, spears, etc. Bad at throwing, though. Powers: In both human and shifted forms, he has the ability to increase his speed or endurance for a time, directly proportional to his energy. If he has high energy, he can sustain the spell until he's moved so much that he's out of energy. Essentially, if he has 10 units of energy, and that means moving 20 units of distance, then using the spell to cross the 20 units of distance would still take 10 units of energy, it'd just be used up faster as he moves faster. Background: Phoenix grew up in a relatively good household, with two 'caring' parents that preferred yelling and screaming at him over asking him what's wrong or why he can't do something. Middle-class, his father was a veteran and his mother worked for the US Military as a desk-jockey. How they ever got together is beyond him; every time he's ever watched them, they've never showed any sign of love or any other strong emotion. If anything, they fight, though not often enough to make any rifts. Personality: Phoenix is withdrawn and often reserved, and dislikes people poking their nose into his business without invitation or with his friendliness. Often times, he follows the three-times rule, where if someone is nice to him three times in a way he considers important, the person will gain a bit of reputation in his eyes, so to speak. If someone aggravates him three times, he'll begin to get snappy with them if they were a friend, or just flat out go cold if they weren't. Plus, he's very obsessive over his quirks and the like. If he were to lose track of how many times someone's been nice to him or aggravated him, he might very well have a panic attack, which can either cause him to freeze up and the like, or just go crazy and act on anything coming in- if he sees someone moving towards him who he feels is moving too quickly, he'll likely try to beat them up in a possibly misguided attempt at self-defense, or if he thinks somoene might be crying who he thinks he likes or cares for, he may just give them a hug. Essentially, everything gets blurry for him and he'd give someone a hug, then punch someone else in the jaw and start singing "It's gonna be all right!" All problems dissipate when shifted, though. Clearer mind. Other: (Anything else you can think of that doesn’t immediately fit in with the other categories. A theme song? A hobby that you didn’t quite mention? This section isn’t mandatory, but if you have anything that you can think of that you want to throw in, this is the one.)
