I have an idea for how everyone would meet. hear me out here
Everyone is found, personally, to track down and kill a certain lord (quite possibly the harpy girls owner). Everyone goes to the manor to kill said lord and only find each other in the house. It would have turned out to be a massive set up, and human knights come to apprehend them. Meaning they'd have to work together to get out of there.
