Question: how do you guys feel about using things like Japanese honorifics and "last name, first name"? I personally don't like using honorifics in English, but I think they [i]are[/i] important in establishing relations in writing (which Japanese is in general better at doing) and that going on first-name basis also does that, since that's typically preserved for people who you share a relatively close bond with. Correct me if I'm wrong, though.
