*Writer's Block intensifies*
Well, I don't really know what works for you, but here's a few things I try to do to get over writer's block or just write more in general: - Introduce a new character(s). Obviously this is just for rare situations, but if you're in a rut, a new character can push you into fresh situations. IE Rokoru suddenly rivals with Akira and senpai of Saya; more reason to write. - Start some kind of side story thing. Something to pull out and continue when things get slow gives you and possibly others something to write about. IE that whole Akiko thing I did (which, looking back, I hate) - Filler? Write about what your character thinks, feels, or wants to do about what has happened. I know that recaps are boring and relatively pointless, but it could give someone something to react to maybe. I like to expand on their thoughts and senses when they're just talking to someone, since I personally hate just having a bunch of lines of dialogue like a script. - Random events? Maybe someone gets mugged, maybe some prick from school sants to challenge you to a lift-off. Random things like those do happen, so perhaps that could save the day for you. - Unnecessary Fanservice. Another last resort, but oops, it looks like Noboru accidentally spilled his drink all over himself and needs to change. Unfortunately he has no shirts to wear so he continues the run with nothing more than a pair of shorts on! I don't know if that's helpful or not, but just some thoughts.
Rokoru took another deep breath once he finished speaking and slipped off the coat part of his uniform, revealing his sloppily put on white shirt.
Would adding "and his bulging muscles" be too much?
