As Minae continued her conversation, she saw the man look to his phone for a moment. 

"What might be so important that you look at your phone?" She asked, her tone surprisingly ice-like

He explained that it was just an employee telling him some important information. "And will you tell me what that is?" She practically demanded, and he explained- bumbling along that it was about an employees upcoming retirement party. She knew he was lying to her face, but decided against saying anything. He was good at his job and so long as what he was doing was not interrupting productivity or stealing funds, she was okay with it. She asked him about a large variety of topics and when she was done, it was already over an hour she'd been there. Sighing deeply, she thanked him for his time, and left the office
