It's run by the town Sheriff, Wyatt Briggs, who makes sure the town is free from zombies at all costs. It survives on trade caravans, as the local hills aren't really great for farming, but one of the principal resources is its small copper mine. Copper is traded in both raw and worked form (cookware and sheets are most popular, as most communities don't really have a need for wires any more). The mine's been there for a long time, certainly since before the contagion. One of their principal trading partners is the town of Salvation to the north, which has an abundance of grain and food, being located in a fertile valley surrounded by mountains.
