Allegiance Independent (Vigilante) Distinguishing Features Yamato already looks different from others, most notably due to his particularly unique choice of clothes. His sharp hair compliments with his strange clothes, and there are two scars etched over around his eyes. Strengths and Tools [*]Magnet Metal Gloves - Yamato uses his metal gloves to empower his strikes, but these are also used to potentially defend himself from cybernetic weapons and limbs. The metal acts like a magnet and slightly pushes away any metals that approach it.[/*] [*]Swift Feet - Having been trained as a ninja, Yamato is naturally fast, and his footsteps are particularly light for someone of his weight.[/*] [*]Martial Arts - Yamato's knowledge in martial arts makes him very versatile in combat, allowing him to choose in being defensive or offensive in battle.[/*] [*]Ninja's Arsenal - Yamato carries around several ninja tools that can serve to be handy. These range from substitute dolls, shurikans, and even a pair of scissors for absolutely no good reason.[/*] Skills [*]Yamato is terrifyingly caring towards his hometown's citizens. Under most cases, he will have no intentions in actually killing anybody at the end of the day.[/*] [*]Yamato has fairly sharp senses thanks to his training as a ninja.[/*] [*]Yamato has a fairly versatile balance in handling combat and non-combat situations.[/*] Weaknesses [*]Yamato is vulnerable to electric currents when using his magnet gloves.[/*] [*]Though he is fairly durable for an average human being, Yamato may not have as much durability as a cyborg.[/*] [*]Yamato can misinterpret a whole slew of situations. Currently, his biggest situation involves Amadeus and her allies, and how he views them as villains.[/*] [*]Yamato can be horrifyingly talkative when he gets excited.[/*] Personality Yamato is not a typical kind of person even by the standards of ninjas. He hosts a great hatred towards the concept of evil, but not the evil people themselves. The ninja can become extremely talkative when he is given the chance to talk, and sometimes even goes as far to talk for a whole hour about how stupid artificial orange juice is. The man can misinterpret a whole slew of situations, which oftentimes leads him to stopping the wrong people. Yamato outwardly expresses an inability to control himself and think straightly at times, and tends to do the opposite of what his opponents want him to do. He is frequently taken as a joke, despite the fact that he is one of the few humans who took down a cyborg all by himself. But underneath his stupidity is a kind wisdom that only the keenest people would be able to spot at a first glance. Most of Yamato's stupidity comes from the fact that he never lived a life of a normal child's. He threw his future away for the sake of his people, and has a great passion to fulfill duties that could possibly let him improve his battered home. Yamato is compassionate in trying to understand others, and while some may never be able to understand him, he can become one of the best comrades one could ever have. Whatever loyalty he has drives him to best his own limits to save not only his home, but those who are in a dire need for assistance. Background The Black Claw had once visited Yamato's home, Reiatsu; it was a secluded island located somewhat nearby Japan, and was unidentified due to its actual location. The Black Claw sent several cyborgs to capture several of Reiatsu's people; some were caught, some died. Those who were unneeded were disposed of on-spot. Yamato was a warrior filled with naivety and good intentions. While his rank among the warriors was particularly low, he was known to be one of the strongest warriors of Reiatsu, mostly because of his great perseverance. Trained to defend his people, he followed his senior comrades into battle against the cyborgs, intent on saving the people that had been taken away from the cyborgs. The robots, however, proved to have superior technology over them. While Yamato knocked out the cyborgs by simply punching them over and over again, most of his allies fell in battle. In fact, not only did his allies fall, but the people he needed to protect fell as well. After he fought and fought to the point where his fists bled profusely, his martial arts teacher gave him a pair of strange gauntlets on his dying breath. Yamato had enough time to go and save his people, as the teacher died after uttering out a soft goodbye. With the gauntlets, Yamato took down several more cyborgs, thus apprehending five weak cyborgs by himself. When he thought they were the last of the men who threatened his home, Yamato felt a dark presence near him. He turned around, only to feel his face burn in pain. Someone had slashed at the center of his face, leaving two wounds dealt by a blade. Yet, even though he had just been injured... the injury felt cold as the defeat he just experienced. The last thing Yamato saw was his older brother taking down the cyborg before even more of them came. He would eventually never see him- no, her again. When Yamato woke up, he was being hospitalized by his fallen cousin's fiancee, who happened to be a nurse. Though she was unable to fix his wounds perfectly, Yamato knew she did the best she could, and had to forgive her about fifty times before she knew that he had forgiven her. When he eventually left the hospital, bandages wrapped around his battered torso, many of the survivors he met bowed to him with deep respect. Baffled and utterly surprised by the sudden change of treatment he received, Yamato demanded to know what was with everyone's attitudes. It turned that only he survived among the warriors. It was then that Yamato realized what a great burden had fallen over his home. The home he lived in was no more, and his brother(?) had mysteriously vanished. The burden, however, was not heavy enough to weigh on Yamato's shoulders. After one entire day of thinking, Yamato first reconstructed one of the ships that his master used to use when Yamato was still training himself excessively. He then told all of the people to burn the destroyed remains of his home and let nature grow abundant again on its own. He claimed that by the time they return, the entire island would be filled with life once more. Before they departed, however, one of the citizens of Reiatsu discovered an injured cyborg. While everyone backed away from the cyborg when they saw it for their own eyes, Yamato walked up to the cyborg. Her eyes looked deprived of life, and her body twitched unnaturally. Despite what the cyborg had done, however, Yamato was fully against destroying her, for he still considered her to be a human being like any other. The ninja picked the girl up and asked both his cousin's fiancee and a local mechanic to fix her up before they left. The people's fears of the cyborg slightly vanished when the girl seemed to behave passively. Yamato decided to name her "Kohaku" due to how her amber-colored eyes reminded him of his own. Soon, Yamato departed Reiatsu and found himself arriving at what appeared to be an old harbor. He then brought the one-hundred people that remained as Reiatsu's survivors to the middle of the city, renting an entire basement for everyone to live in for the time being. No one complained and complied with his choices. Yamato then stated that he would be work in the bustling and fascinating world they had discovered. With that said, Yamato worked and worked, doing part-time jobs he never did before and even winning a lottery. With the money he earned, Yamato let the people move out of the basement and rented a fairly large house. It was big enough for a hundred people, much to his satisfaction. Since then, Kohaku, the cyborg Yamato picked up, seemed to grow accustomed to the people she was once ordered to kill. Something within her coding had been overwritten. Perhaps, Yamato had somehow tampered with her machinery while doing something stupid of him to do, but whatever he did was for the better good. She now follows Yamato around, and her weapons once used to destroy were being used to prevent destruction instead. Yamato did not plan on ending his mission with letting the people of Reiatsu live in a house. For now, he worked as a vigilante, taking down villains that dare show their faces to him. He was not the strongest hero in the world, but he would at least be strong enough to protect his people this time. To rid the world of evil was impossible, but it did not matter what circumstances he was in; he would see to it that he would change the ways of these cyborgs and bad people. He would become the helping hand that no one else can provide.
