It would also explain why she's around, sort-of-but-doesn't-want-to work with the White Fang. Also likely why the White Fang couldn't just go and take out Blake from before unlike Tuskon, cause of Blake Mama. You saw how Neo reacted. No one want to piss her off. As for why she saved Yang? Cause Yang's Blake's [s]lover[/s] partner. She still cares for her little kitty, and all her friends, but she has to work late night to support the family and all that.
